As a staple of vinyasa classes, Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog pose) is often used as a transition or resting pose. In this workshop, we will deconstruct down dog and use related postures to explore and better understand the actions of this asana. You will also learn how to address common issues (ranging from hand/wrist discomfort to neck pain) as well as how to optimally work the legs and shoulders to avoid injury to keep you safe and strong.
